For invitations and announcements with customized text, a digital proof will be emailed to you within 2 business days. Your order will be printed within 7 days of your final proof approval. If special papers need to be ordered, an additional week may be required.
Sure! Just ask. We are happy to accommodate special color requests. If we have the color you want in stock, we will substitute it free of charge. If we don’t stock your color, there may be an additional fee. We will give you a quote before you place your order.
Absolutely! When you place your order, simply include the details of your event and we will create a proof with sample wording. After we will work with you to make the necessary changes needed to create the prefect text. If you have a specific question regarding wording, please contact us.
No. Proof layout is very important and labor intensive. We do require payment prior to beginning this process.
We don’t because we prefer to make layout adjustments tailored to your personalized text. Unlike “big box” stationery companies, every design is custom set just for you by a real human being to ensure the most visually pleasing layout possible. For orders with custom text, we will email your customized proof within two business days.
In our studio, we are very eco-conscious. We use recycled shipping materials and recycle 100% of our paper waste.
Most (but not all) of our papers are made from 30% and 100% post consumer waste. We work with paper vendors who are committed to environmental stewardship. They purchase paper from mills who use responsible, sustainable forestry practices and renewable energy resources such as wind and hydropower.
If you would like to use 100% recycled papers in your order, we will work with you to make that happen. There are many affordable recycled paper options.
We send photos out for professional photo processing. Our lab uses Kodak papers with a Matte Lustre finish. Photos are accepted via e-mail in JPEG format with minimum resolution of 300 dpi or original prints via mail. All originals will be returned with your final order.
We accept a limited number of custom design orders each month. A down payment is required before design can begin. The design process begins with an initial consultation in person, by telephone or via email to discuss the details of your event and your specific wishes.
You will be given several choices of fonts, papers, envelopes, and response cards. You may compose your own verse or request assistance with wording. From this point, proofs will be sent via email. Often, we will bounce ideas back and forth with you via email or telephone until we have created the perfect card for you. This process can take a few days to a few weeks.
After the final proof is approved and the balance of your order is paid, you will receive your completed order within two weeks. If unique papers are special ordered, the time frame for delivery may be 2-3 weeks from final proof approval.
Custom art requests require an additional 7 days of design time.
All custom and personalized items are non-refundable. All other items returned within 30 days of purchase will be fully refunded. Shipping fees cannot be refunded.
If an error is made due to a mistake in production, your order will be replaced and shipped free of charge. If an error occurs that was not caught during proof process (such as an incorrect date), your order will be reprinted at a 30% discount plus shipping costs.
We use delivery confirmation with every order. If there is a problem, we will make every effort to rectify it.
