A Fresh Beginning

Who knew designing my simple wedding announcement would evolve into a dream-come-true? Sure, I always dreamed of marrying the dashing prince, but a fabulous design career? It had never crossed my mind.

What began as a hobby has morphed into a passion. Named for my first-born-lovebug, Jumping Jack Designs began as a means to feed my creative soul. Turns out I was more ravenous than I knew. I began making announcements and invitations for the celebrations in the lives of friends and family. When strangers started calling, I began to dream.

I am excited, and thankful, to let you know that dreams do come true. Jumping Jack Designs has blossomed into a vibrant full-service stationery design studio with amazing and loyal clients in our hometown of Reno and all over the world.

In the last three years, we’ve had incredibly rewarding design opportunities. We created a custom gift certificate that was given to the presenters at the 2008 Academy Awards (yes, George Clooney has our phone number… we never give up hope that he may call). We’ve been honored to create countless custom wedding invitations celebrating true love, joyfully announced the arrival of beautiful newborns and celebrated birthdays of the young and the young-at-heart. Our corporate designs have helped businesses reach out to their clients on a personal level and our work with non-profits such as The Note-ables and Animal Ark has helped generate revenue for worthy capital campaigns.

I am thrilled to announce we are growing once again. We have expanded our website to be a full service ecommerce site. You can now order and purchase everything from note cards and greetings to personalized invitations and custom design directly from our website. We will continue to offer every client personalized care, but now it’s a bit easier for you.

In addition to a new website, I have a new commitment to create more transparency in our little biz. I will be blogging about the day to day workings of our family studio, inspiration and fun finds from the wondrous world of indie design. I look forward to sharing our new beginning with you.
